The website is served through Cloudflare (our processor), which processes technically necessary connection data such as your IP address in order to deliver the pages and protect them against abuse. We keep no access log of our own, set no cookies, load no content from other servers and use no advertising or analytics services. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our interest is secure and reliable operation.
Contact by e-mail
When you write to us, we process your details in order to reply (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR) and delete them once they are no longer needed for that purpose and no statutory retention obligation applies.
Company datasets (Art. 14 GDPR)
We produce market analyses and company lists for business clients. They may contain business details of people who run a company or are publicly named there as a contact.
- Data: name, role and business contact details.
- Sources: publicly accessible sources such as company websites, registers and directories.
- Purpose and legal basis: market analysis and initiating business contacts, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our interest, and our clients', is to know the companies in a market and to approach them for business.
- Recipients: our business clients and service providers supporting us as processors.
- Retention: at most 3 years after the data were last confirmed in a public source.
- There is no automated decision-making.
Transfers to the USA
Some service providers, such as for hosting and e-mail, may also process data in the USA. The basis is the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. An informal message to kontakt@zdenekpekarek.com is enough.
Right to object
You may object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing of your data based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR). An informal message to kontakt@zdenekpekarek.com is enough.
Where your data are processed for direct marketing, you may object at any time without giving reasons, and we then no longer process them for that purpose (Art. 21(2) and (3) GDPR).
